A Day in Pompeii

An exhibition entitled A Day in Pompeii will be coming to Te Papa at the end of the year. This will be a wonderful opportunity to see Roman treasures from the ancient city of Pompeii, buried by the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79AD. At the exhibition you will be able to walk back in time to glimpse daily life in a Roman city. So watch this space for more information as there are exciting events planned to support the exhibition.
