Inter-Club Football Match: 30th Anniversary of the Aldo Cuccurullo Memorial Trophy

<p>This year marks the 30th anniversary of the annual football game between Club Garibaldi (Wellington) and Club Italia (Nelson). </p><p>We would like to invite past and present players to be a part of this event.</p><p>Please save the date. Details to follow in due course, including the time and location of the game and the after match function.</p><p>***</p><p>Aldo Cuccurullo Memorial Trophy</p><p>Each year Club Garibaldi of Wellington and Club Italia of Nelson interact through a soccer game between representatives of the two clubs. </p><p>The game is in memory of Aldo Cuccurullo, a young member of Club Italia who tragically died at a very young age.</p><p>Aldo was known as a gentle giant who gave of his time not only to play rugby league himself, but also to coach children.</p><p class="text-justify">The game, as you would expect of Italian football, is a tense one. Member supporters of each club travel to be at the game but the weekend is as much an opportunity to socialise and build friendships as it is to play football.</p> -

All you need to do to receive the grant is chose Club Garibaldo Member under the Membership drop-down you sign up for classes on the <a rel="noopener" href="https://www.circoloitaliano.org.nz/courses" target="_blank">Circolo Italiano di Wellington</a> website.</p><p>Term 1 starts week commencing 17 February, preceded by a orientation night on Wednesday 12 February.
